There goes February~

28 February! Before you know it, it's already the end of another month. March's drawing nearer~ Oh heck. Starting tomorrow, I can offically say byebye to freedom, to my usual idling life which I have grown so fond of.

*cries a bucket full of tears* I don't mind growing mould all over and rotting away. NOOOO. *wails louder*

Ok, life sure have its ups and downs. BE STRONG HUIQI. *sobsob*
LOL. Work's gonna end pretty late, so I can see my life sailing out by the window and out of the universe.

So, let's end the month with a more pensive tone. Let's do a bit of reflection. What have you done for the entire month? Achieved anything you want?

Let's see... For this month, I
1) cleared my FTT.
2) explored various parts of Singapore which I wouldn't normally go
3) cleared some stuff out from my cupboard and out of my life
4) learning and becoming a vainpot and someone I wouldn't want to be a year ago, and I kinda like it. LOL.
5) staying happy and relaxed, just like how I want life to be

LOL. I actually find it easier to set goals on a monthly basis rather than a yearly basis and not achieving anything at all. Because I'm short-sighted and can't see in the long-term at all. So there, I came up with a monthly list, but of course, some things remained un-checked cos of lack of money and time. HAHA.

BYEBYE FEBRUARY, SEE YOU NEXT YEAR. WELCOME MARCH. ;D

Tadaa~

Paaaarty up

Before I forgot about it, I went to the Singapore National Museum on Thursday. LOL. Cost me ten dollars, but the friendly security guard actually told me I'm still eligible for student price. =.=....

Ok, anyway, I thought it was a pretty good trip, but it gets a tad boring after sometime. Took a few pictures, but gave up after awhile. LOL. Place is dark, and no flash allowed. All the pictures were pretty much blurry. Guess I still have to brush up my photography skills. ;D

It's an audio-tour. So basically, the number would be pasted on the wall, and once you passed the place, just key in the number and then tadaa~~ you will be guided via the little machine. LOL, well, not exactly little or light lah. HAHA.

The passage to hell. LOL. It feels like I stepped into some science fiction movie in here. Big screens and voices chanting about Singapore. I think they are trying to brainwash the tourists. ._.

Some of the things in the museum :

Hees, there's my little adventure in the Singapore National Museum. :D

ALRIGHTS, LET'S PAAARTY~~

Want you to keep a little secret between us

When we dance in the moonlight, our music in our hearts

And I gave you a soulful glance that you can never resist, and you came closer

BOOM

I'm your Worst.Nightmare.

HAHAHA. Sorry, just can't resist it. I'm oh-so evil.

Here's a milder blown-up face version. LOL. xD

Ok, that's about it.

Tattoos

Happy Happy. I PASSED MY FINAL THEORY TEST. :D

Actually, I passed it on Monday. LOL. I really die die must boast abit lah. I finished my fifty questions in like 15 minutes. xD So proud of myself. *head inflating* Haha. Now all that's left is my practical test. And I think I'm making huge improvements in my driving lessons too, well, just occasional minor trips here and there. I finally learnt how to mount a kerb, after so many lessons. HAHA. And I haven't figure out how to operate the handbrake yet. ._. Is that thing important? LOL, I always let the car roll backwards down the slope, and I'm still alive lah. Hehe. [But my instructor always help pull me the handbrake]

*plays Tattoo by Jordin Sparks*
.......
I was thinking if I should get a tattoo. Been pondering on it for quite some time now, and I must say, I'm quite tempted by the idea of a tattoo.

LOL. Definitely not something as flashy and cliche like this. Dragon tattoos seems a bit...outdated? People will probably mistake me for a gang member and chase me with parangs. [I always believed that those people with huge huge dragon tattoos on their back belong to gangs ._.]

Haha. But imgaine if I really got a tattoo like that, I will look like the wife of a gang leader. HEHEHE. Then again, I don't think I can pull it off like the woman in the picture. She look so classy and got the don't-mess-with-me aura. *envious* I'll probably just look like the daughter of a gang leader. LOL, in a family of a gang, the daddy will have the biggest dragon tattoo on the back, the mummy will have a smaller one, or even a phoenix tattoo, then the kids will have a Dragonite[Pokemon] tattoo.

LOL, this is how a Dragonite look like. ;D Does it look intimidating?? HAHA. Scare all the three- year olds away.

Ok, damn, I'm seriously digressing.

Point is whether I should get a tattoo or not.
Reasons why I should:
1) I like. LOL. This is a big factor ok.
2) I like.
3) I still like.
4) I really really like.
5) I seriously like.
6) ME LIKES.
7) ME LIKES LIKES.
Ok, actually, I really can't think of a good reason to get a tattoo.

Then a tiny voice in my head that objects because:
1) it hurts.
2) getting a really good tattoo would probably cost alot
3) regretting and later wanting to laser it off, cost money too
4) some tattoos require touch-up
5) later kena chased by gangsters LOL
6) people will run away from me D;

Hmm, 7 good reasons to get a tattoo compared to the miserable 6 reasons why I shouldn't. LOL, I should get a tattoo afterall. xD

Alright, that's it, I'm knocking off. Haha.

I can't waste time so give it a moment. Live every second like it's my last one.
You're on my heart just like a tattoo. Just like a tattoo, I'll always have you.
Cheers~

Breaking Angel, Ballerina who loves B-boy, so do I ;D

Hmm, Breaking Angel. Sounds dark and mysterious right? Something sinister. LOL. You're probably half-right. Actually, it's a...

MUSHROOM

Haha. xD. Well, I thought it looks quite pretty cos it's all white and pure-looking, and the name sounds cool too. But actually, it's fatal. I mean, it's poisonous. LOL, pretty things can sure kill.

Alright, I'm not putting random things up ok. I decided, I'm going to learn to be a mushroom expert. I was browsing through the books when I found a book about mushrooms, and after reading it, I made up my mind to specialise in mushrooms. I'm giving up on blood splatters. LOL.

Oh, and I told my mum about it, and it went like this
Mum: You should try clean up your room.
Me: I got make my bed.
Mum [she win, she ignored me and continue talking]: You should learn cooking too.
Me: I got add veggies in my instant noodles.
Mum [ignored me again =.=] : You should learn something new.
Me [straight-faced]: Mum, I'm learning to be a mushroom expert.

Haha. My mum didn't say anything afterwards. She probably gave up on me. xD

Oh yarh, think my cooking skills upgraded too. I don't get anymore diarrhea after eating the food I cooked myself. The last time I cooked instant noodles, I actually came down with gastric flu, and I never figured out why. LOL, now my food taste like shit itself. Ok, nah, it isn't that bad, still edible lah, but yarh, don't add any vinegar into the noodles, it'll be fine? I was trying to experiment with the food, and I thought adding vinegar and chilli sauce would be a pretty good combination. Must remember: try not to be too adventurous with food. HAHA.

Ok, enough about mushrooms and cooking.

Guess what?? I went to watch a performance in the Esplanade theatre today. It's called 'Ballerina who loves B-boy'. Damn excited. I always wanted to watch a show like this. Ok, I admit I was quite ignorant. Actually, for a looong time, I wanted to watch 'Breakout', and I actually thought the two shows were actually from the same producer, or cast or whatever you call it. =.=It's in fact two different shows.

Anyway, you know I woke up today and found two red patches on my face. I don't know how it happened, it came out when I was sleeping. ._.Damn sad, I thought I was going to the show looking like a bloody Pikachu. =.= But one side subsided, so only one red patch there, so it's not so bad lah.

I actually spent $55 on the ticket. LOL. I wanted to get the $88 one, but only single seats available. =.= Daaang. Well, there's no way I gonna get the $38 one which is so faaar from the stage. ._. Like I say, I wanted to watch for a looong time, and there's no way I'm gonna pay $38 to get a seat so far away from the stage and where I can't see clearly and that would really be a waste. In the end, we still got like the last row, still quite far from the stage. BLAH. Unlike cinemas where the further the better, the best seats for stage performances are always the front, closer to the stage where the barriers between the audience and performers are lesser.

I must say, the show is really really good. Breathlessly fast-paced. Breakdancing, hip-hop etc fused with ballet. The beautiful part was the way performers communicate with each other and the audience with their body movements during the show. Nothing was said, but the message was sent clear, all through non-verbal cues. I took a few pictures of the performers, cos they actually allowed photography inside. So, it's pretty cool, cos I thought I would have to be sneaky about it. LOL.

The atmosphere was pretty hyped up too. The audience would actually cheer after each dance.

Inside the theatre, just before the show starts.

The energetic dancers.

The graceful swans. ;D

The hot female dancers.

The entire performers.

...........................................
..............................................................................................................................................
The pictures taken can't really convey the true atmosphere and the emotions properly. They just cannot portray the raw energy that the performers exude and radiate, that's only exclusive to the audience [because we paid for the show HAHA] Ok, kidding, I suppose when it comes to stage performances, it must be seen with your own eyes. Looking through any other mediums wouldn't make it so special and unique, and not to mention that it would be so distant too.

About the dancers, I'm all ready to swoon and die from a major nosebleed. Muscles...lots of them. xD LOL, one dancer actually whipped off his shirt and got the crowd pretty crazy. I went crazy too, can't stop staring. Haha. To be fair, there were few hot female dancers too, all their dance moves accentuates a kind of feminine sexuality, enough to pump guys' blood out of their noses. Oh, and there was actually a female dancer who can breakdance. AWESOME LOVE.

Ok, I'm tired.

Valentine's Special, with a dose of sugar spice and everything nice

It's Valentine today. BOOHOO. Poor me. LOL. Kidding. Anyway, guys often use this day to ask a girl out. No? It's the perfect day for a date, but who knows if your date is perfect. ;D I created a list of my ideal dates.

My top 7 Hotcakes :

1) Jay Chou

*swoons* He's expert in so many areas, you'll probably have a really fun night. xD Heehee.

2) Miyavi

AWW MAN. Another hottie. ;D I'm getting so excited. The sad thing is, he's married with kids. ._.
But nevertheless, *dreamy eyes*

Any guy that can take picture with a cute kitty and still look cuter deserves lots and lots of LOVE. xD

3) Robert Pattinson

See his charming smile. Gosh. I'll probably be staring at him the entire time with mouth hanging open and drool coming out.

He can even have my blood, I don't mind. ;D

4) Sleeping Beauty

As her name suggests, she's a beauty. And guys get to spend their day in bed, so who's complaining?

5) Katy Perry

Isn't she hot????
I like her. LOTS LOTS. xD Ok, fine, maybe just specific areas.

6) Calvin Hobbes

He's so cute! I mean the boy, not the tiger. But I could live with it too, cos they come in a pair. I don't mind threesome. xD

.......................................................................
.................................................
7) Guess who??? ;D

ME. LOL. I just so love myself. xD

Anyways, I went to the Singapore Science Centre. LOL. On Valentine's day somemore, what an educational way to spend the day.
Alright, so I went for the CSI exhibition. It costs me $21. =.= Feel so cheated, I thought it's $9 [that's the price for adults, ._. no more student price] but apparently it's a separate charge. So in I went.
.......................
CSI experience : I must say it's really eye-opening. But no pictures are allowed in there, so I couldn't take any pictures which is such a shame. =.= Well, they actually created 3 scenarios for you and you are supposed to be the investigator, using various methods of forensic science to crack the cases and find the truth. It was kinda cool, though I get freaked out by the dummies used. I particularly like the blood part, as in, apparently, the blood splatters left on the crime scene does say alot. Like wow, observe blood can also be a job, sounds so easy, think I can do it too, after watching the video about blood splatters. HAHA. I think I can be a forensic scientist now. Anyone wants to hire me? xD There are so many areas to the forensic science like checking DNA, toxicology, and blah blah blah. The disappointing part was that I didn't get to dissect a real thing. Not fair.

Some of the things at the SSC. Apparently if you turn the picture, you are supposed to see different things, but all I can see was a duck rotated 360 degrees. =.=

The hell hole of despair. LOL. Cheat me of my twenty-cents coin.

This drum is supposed to play your heartbeat out loud I think, but it's abit too loud, and abit paiseh. ._.

There's even an exhibition about breast cancer. No, it's not pornography. =.= If anybody can get aroused seeing those gross pictures, you are in serious need of help. LOL, not for the faint-hearted. xD
It's supposed to educate anyway. Oh, apparently guys can get breast cancer too, just the chances of it is slim. Oo.
So, life's pretty fair after all. LOL.

Revelations day

I went shopping AGAIN, today. Haha. Just got home, and waiting for my turn to use the toilet. I always go last cos I'm the slowest. LOL. It's a habit, so I can take my own sweet time without having anybody trying to dismantle the door. xD

Today was fun I suppose. Full of surprises, and of course, revelations.

Heh. So, I decided to go shopping together with my sister, because she wanted new clothes. My cousin said he's free and decided that he wanted to come along too. So, early in the morning at around 10.30am, we met up with my cousin and went Far East Plaza.

Well, I have to say, I actually have the honor of leading the way. I asked them what they want to eat for lunch. My sis said she wants slow food. Ok. And my cousin went "Anything. I'm following you guys." Think he said that alot of times, I gave up counting after awhile. LOL. So, we got hopelessly lost in a shopping mall [can't remember the name] because of their weirdly-positioned escalators for awhile, before settling down at Ion for lunch. Things are so over-priced there. ._.

In the midst of lunch, our conversation was suddenly turned to relationships. Not just normal relationships, but exclusive one that only involves two-some. =.= He just have to piqued my sis's curiosity, and I manage to evade it. Haha!

Anyway, we spent the a couple of hours walking around Far East Plaza, looking for clothes that would catch my sis's eyes. ._. No such luck. Her taste too... Anyway, I saw a couple of nice clothes there, just well, over-priced I suppose.

In the end, we took the train to Bugis, and we walked for another few hours before she finally found one shirt she likes. Just one shirt, I nearly died. ._. We walked for hours and all she bought was one shirt. Love her, really. LOL. And all the time while we were shopping, our poor cousin was just standing around and waiting. Poor guy. He's like our escort for the day. Haha.

Then we went back home, cos we got a family gathering later. LOL. So that means we get to see our cousin again. No big deal, no big deal, until he decided to piqued my sis's curiosity again. And my sis did a deal with me: I tell her all my dirty secrets, she would tell me hers too. She's just so determined. *shakes head* Ok, she got my curiosity going too. Like, hello, 14 years old got what big big secret. Plenty, apparently. But before some people's minds start wandering waaay off, no, she didn't get pregnant and throw her baby out of the window hoping the baby would suddenly flap his/hers arms and fly, like some crazy girl did.

Surprisingly, you realised you lived with them and known them for so long, and all you know of them is perhaps just the superficial part, the tip of the iceberg, and yet many more things to be discovered.

Fine, so it just takes abit of courage to throw everything at your sister. To open up and confess abit. And that's what my sis did too. You wanna know her secret???? I'm not saying. Maybe if someone begs me real hard, present me with a diamond ring and a million dollars, I might just consider. xD

It wasn't so bad as I thought. My sis actually treated me nicer leh. Talk about sisterhood man. She actually allowed me to eat in our room. Normally, she would probably drag me out and drill holes into my head. ;D Telling someone your thoughts isn't so bad afterall, I suppose she's happy that I see her as a confidante. Wow, that's progress I think. LOL. She's always complaining how she tells me her stuff, and how I never seem to tell her anything.

But I can't imagine throwing all the morbid stuff on a 14 year old though. Some secrets are still secrets. *wink wink* xD [Don't wanna spoil the wonderful impression she has of me]

Think my cousin deserves some credit too, I will buy him a mini skirt I guess. HAHA. He'll probably love it. ;D

Cheers~

The pursuit

It's hardly I get such a long holiday, wait, actually, it's the first time I ever got such a holiday. Eight months of holidays, I'm already into my third month. And I'm enjoying every minute of it. :D For the first time in my life, I get to do things at my own leisure and at my own pace.
................
If I want, I can slack at home all day with a good book in hand or simply waste my time on a trashy novel, or I could even go and catch a movie. There's no need to rush for the bus, squeeze with the crowd, no need to pretend to listen in class, no need to struggle to stay awake during lessons, no need to tie my hair and follow any school rules. Basically, I'm free! If I want, I can dye my hair bright orange, and get chased out by my parents and get chased by people wielding parangs. LOL.
.....................
I still remembered last year [I think] when I went to stay in a chalet with my secondary school friends. It was early in the morning, and two of us couldn't sleep, and so we slipped out to have breakfast. That feeling was magical, it was great. We ate toasts and sip on our drinks and reminiscience. Just like old men in coffee shops. Everything was at our leisure, and there wasn't any rush. It just feels like I can put the world behind me, and my legs on top of the sky.
.....................
Fine, it is the holidays, and it just got me thinking. I finally have the time to really pursue something I want and achieve it, and for once, it doesn't have to do with academy. I can start on something new. My life just doesn't center around school school school anymore.
..................
I've taken a look at my blog and over the past two years, it's been nothing but SCHOOL LIFE. I'm not living the way I want my life to be. I want a carefree life, with a flexible schedule. Of course, that's not to say, I put learning behind me. I am still learning though, and that's lessons that I can't possibly learn in school.
.................
For one, I'm learning driving. LOL. Think I just upgrade from trying to kill my instructor to attempt at killing motorcylists. HAHA. ._. Sorry, that's not funny.
..............
..............
And, oh, I just saw something epic and I think it's a waste not to put it up.

CHECK IT OUT MAN. HOT NOT???? OMG.
*swoons*

See those muscles. Gosh. I'm getting faint, someone please help.

...................................................
.......................................................
...........................................................
Ok, those are actually South Korean troops undergoing military training. Wah, why can't Singapore learn from them too? I bet that place is like freezing cold and they are training half-naked. They look so tough, so man. xD ME LIKES.

I think my nose gonna bleed soon, no wait, actually, it's already bleeding.
........................................................
........................................................................
........................
...........................................................
............................................
There, this is what I call life man. See, I got all the time to pursue something that's really worthy. Hee hee. xD
.....................
Ok, I'm willing to share if anybody's interested too.
Yarh, it's just at xinmsn. ;D

The Green Hornet turns me green

So, I woke up this morning to the cries of a little kid who was actually six floors down. At eight in the morning today, there was this little kid who kept crying "I don't waaant. I don't waaaant." On a Monday morning, I'm ready to bet a million dollars that kid doesn't want to go to school. Like frankly, it's only going to school, also never ask that kid to go to hell, so difficult meh? At least tell the mummy the reason why, but no, that silly kid just keep repeating the same sentence OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
...................
Cry some more, early in the morning disturbed my beauty sleep. That kid is obviously asking for a beating, kid or not I don't really care. =.= Four days of holidays still not enough, that kid is seriously one spoilt brat. So eight in the morning, I was fully awake, blood pressure rising and an itch to throttle something small and impudent, for instance the little kid. I'm just so evil sometimes. LOL.
.......................
Years ago, if I were to do that, I would probably earn myself a spanking from my mum, before being dragged to school with mucus dangling from my nose. Years later, if I ever have a child, and my child does the same, the kid would be given two tight slaps, or more (depends on my mood) before getting tied up and dragged to school. LOL. Violence runs deep in the family. xD No wonder guys are running in the opposite direction.
...................
I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart the child gets a spanking from his mother.
.................
HAHAHA.

Anyway, to today's topic. The Green Hornet. Actually, I watched the movie a loong time ago, in January with my workmates after work. But things gotten quite busy and I wanted to dedicate a post just for it, cos of JAY CHOU. xD

Well, when I heard that Jay Chou is going to be in the movie, an English movie, I have to admit that I was quite thrilled and had really great expectations for this movie, having seen his other movies as well. But, I suppose, I have to say, I'm quite disappointed.

The plot's pretty weak. I've read the synopsis which stated that they are two superheroes who pretend to be criminals to uphold justice and rid the city of evil. Lies. =.= If you watch the movie, they [Britt and Kato] are far from the good guys in my eyes. ._. They accidentally set off a series of murder sprees, destroyed the company Britt's father left for him and stole a head[of s statue] and accidentally become ''heroes''.

And I can't help thinking that the movie serves to further boost Jay's ego. In case nobody noticed, he's always playing the ultra-cool roles.

1) Initial D- Expert car racer that would have put Alonso to shame.

2) Secret- Pianist pro

3) Curse of the golden flower- the filial son who is so capable

4) Kungfu Dunk- basketball pro, martial arts expert

5) The Treasure Hunter- an extremely skilled desert explorer

6) The Green Hornet- martial arts pro cum expert weapon maker

What's next? Lingerie expert? ._.

This is too much. LOL. The redeeming part is when he couldn't swim. Aww, just make you wanna jump in and save him. But I can't swim either, so I can't save him. Let's just drown together. LOL. xD

Ok, perhaps what's good about the movie is the interactions between the characters. Funny and entertaining, and it does provide a few good laughs and justify the seven bucks I'm paying for. But otherwise, I have to say, I'm quite disappointed this time round, and it is certainly not the best Jay's movie I have watched. Heck other actors, I'm not their fan anyway. ;D

Shopping and Steamboat

ALLLRIGHTS!! Super happy. I went SHOPPING today, like finally! Haha. My dad told me my pay has come in, and plus the the angpao money I've got, I'm feeling so rich that I just gotta spend it and treat myself. So, today, I spent the third day of CNY shopping like mad in Bugis. Since it's still new year, some shops are still closed, and the good part was that there wasn't such a huge crowd so I can get to shop in peace, without having to squeeze and fight my way through. :D

Most of the shops were selling the same stuff actually, and almost all at the same price. It's really dirt cheap there; some clothes were selling for like $10 per piece, quality-wise, I suppose it's still quite ok, as long as you don't compare the material to silk I think. =.= One of the the shopkeepers told me that we are lucky to shop at this time because they are having some kind of new year sales or something. ;D So lucky. Haha.
..................................
And I had such a fun time shopping. Wished the day doesn't go so quickly by, wished my legs can last as long as my enthusiasm for shopping, but well, haha, I'm glad to have a good rest. I feel so tired out now. LOL. Like I can fall asleep anytime soon. Heh, most of the shops are selling frilly flora prints clothes, I suppose that's like the hottest things right now? =.= I don't like it, but it's everywhere. It's too...feminine. Haha. And I can't imagine myself in those kind of clothes, I don't think anyone can too. It's quite challenging to find the right clothes because part of me wanted a totally different style, and then part of me still want a more casual style; the kind of clothes that can look good even with just-got-up-of-bed messed up hair. LOL. Hard right? I think I should buy pyjamas instead.
......................................
Anyway, I think my fashion sense has toned down alot; it has become more subtle. xD The power of 19 I suppose, I realised that I have outgrown some things. Yup, so I bought a few new clothes today, but I'm too lazy to take pictures of them. Must wait till I decide to wear them. HAHA.
...................
Yup, and I made it home just in time for steamboat. AWESOME. I just love steamboat. :D Cos I get to throw in all the food I want. Hehe. Sadly, no pictures too cos I was busy eating. Damn hungry after the shopping, so I just eat and eat and eat. Fun leh. I think can lose weight also, sweat while you eat. Oh, my sister helped cool me down. She knocked down my can of chrysanthemum tea onto my pants. Her aiming so accurate leh, I looked like I wet my pants. So, my bottom was quite cooled lah. ._. Hot and cold, I'll probably catch a cold.
.....................
.....................
Right, so the yesterday, my dad brought us to River Hongbao 2011. It's..um..near Singapore River I think =.=, which I have no idea where, but oh well. It's damn crowded. ._.

My sister told me this is the casino. ._. Really? Or is it a hotel?

There was two supersized carrots dangling in the sky. For the rabbits this year? ;D

The God of Fortune. I think they will throw some little things down, not sure what is it, but it's considered a lucky thing if you can catch it; I've seen people waiting under this big statue with a umbrella. Typical Singaporeans. =.=

Me trying to kiss my zodiac sign. HAHA.I heard a woman exclaiming "Haiyo!" while I was posing. =.= Sorry lah, I happened to get turned on by goats. *sticks out tongue*

Bought an ice-cream there. Red bean with chocolate. But they didn't mention there's vanilla in it too, and the vanilla is like 80% of the whole ice-cream. ._. Anyway, I ate the red bean and chocolate part which is quite nice, then gave my dad the rest of it. HAHA.

Ok, that should be it. Too lazy to post the rest up. Haha. xD

Happy Chinese New Year; This year is different. ;D

Happy Chinese New Year! It's the second day of chinese new year today and I am back from Malaysia. In fact, I returned back yesterday but I was so tired out that I spent the rest of my day sleeping. =.= I fell asleep unknowingly, right after dinner. Definitely not a healthy habit. Anyway, my family and I headed to Malaysia on the eve of Chinese New Year, like we always do. It's a kind of routine or tradition for my family I suppose, to visit my grandma who is staying over there. We always stayed over at my uncle's house. LOL. It's hard to miss his house even if my dad is driving in the middle of the night, cause his house is the biggest among the neighbourhood and the brightest. HAHA.

Thank goodness we are only staying for one night, and I always don't get to sleep at all because my uncle keeps setting off firecrackers. And it happens every year. I know it's to celebrate lah, but setting it off at night and all the way till dawn like 3a.m or 4a.m is a bit too much. I'm not a fan of carbon monoxide and loud noise, so it kind of irritates me alot. Once a year is enough for my poor heart I think. BUT, THIS YEAR WAS DIFFERENT. He didn't set off anymore firecrackers after like 1a.m (he suddenly discovered his conscience I think), so I really got a good sleep. ;D Super happy.

And I certainly can't imagine how extended family can live together, like all your relatives and parents-in-laws all under one roof. I can't stand it for a single day, so I cannot help but wonder how people can stay like this for their entire lives. Isn't it a bit suffocating? I have seen those drama serials where extended families live together, then have conflicts but in the end, all their differences will be resolved and they will eat their reunion dinner happily. That's utter bullshit. Dramas, they are so misleading. If life was that easy and convenient, you wouldn't even need to walk to the toilet to pee; the toilet bowl would come to you instead. =.= Fine, I admit I am a loner who just enjoys her space and privacy. THEN AGAIN, THIS YEAR WAS DIFFERENT. My sis and I had the luxury of having the entire bedroom to ourselves. My brother fell asleep on the sofa, and my parents stayed up the entire night to chit-chat. HAHA. Chatterboxes.

One of the things I dread about CNY is also the fact that there is always practically nothing to do there. The adults would be gambling; but since I don't gamble, I hardly join them. As for my cousins, we only see them like on an annual basis and that's it, so we are quite distant. =.= Pathetic right. I mean, I tried talking to them before, like I said hi to them. But how to talk to them when they are so engrossed with their PSPs and Nintendo games??? ._. If I am lucky, I might get a response, a grunt. I kind of got fed up, and so I always bring a book to read. LOL. HEY, THIS YEAR WAS DIFFERENT. There was this cousin I have never spoke to in my whole of 19 years, and I never remembered seeing him around during the past recent years. Anyway, none of us really recognized him. He actually said hi to us, but he got completely ignored. LOL. Must be karma. Well, he managed to talk to my brother. Men's talk. =.= So exclusive sia, talk must go the the balcony one, my brother must be hiding some dirty secrets. I don't wanna know anywaaaaay. *pouts*
Ok, so I only found out he was my cousin the next morning, when he joined us for breakfast, and my grandma was calling his name. At least I remembered by his name; my sister was completely oblivious to his existence. LOL. But then again, he changed alot. Wait, I haven't got to the best part yet. He grew his hair longer, and became so buff, and it's the OMFRIGGINGOD kind. SHUDDUP, I'm not checking him out, but it is soo obvious, like seriously in-your-face okay. Rule: I never never check my cousins out, that's like incest. That's really a pity, could have gotten him to show it off though. xD We could hold next year's CNY at the beach. HEHE.

Anyway, he is pretty okay, although he keeps lamenting over the fact that he has no girlfriends. I think that's his biggest obsession. Oh well, I suppose everybody has their own obsessions. HAHA. xD
OK, onto better subjects. HEE.

My newly painted nails. Damn in love with it. :D

My toe nails! Goes together with my fingers. :D

Me and my bear, :D

Me and Sis.
She's officially 14! Happy Birthday!

.....................................................................................................................................
P.S: wanted to take one with my cousin too, but a bit paiseh. =.=

Oh, anyway, on the eve of CNY'S EVE, I went Chinatown. LOL, at midnight somemore. Damn awesome and lively there. They were selling new year goodies[the mochis and the jellies] at a seriously discounted rates, and I bought a few. From $1.50 per 100g to $1 per 100g, and I still get extra 2 bucks off. Sweet! xD And I took a few pictures.

I wanted to take the CNY's decorations, but the dearest taxi just zoomed by conveniently and ended in my camera too. =.=

Wanted to take a picture of the entire street, but not tall enough. ._.

To sum it up, here's a giant ferrero to set your mouth watering. HAHAHA. xD

Ok, kidding, the giant size chocolate is not Ferrero, it's Terry's orange flavoured chocolate. :D

This year feels awesome, and I have a feeling that it will just keep getting better. :D

Birthday party without the cake

It's the first day of February! Time flies! Just last month, you were celebrating New year, and this month, in another 2 days' time, you gonna celebrate Chinese New Year. LOL. I can't wait! Lots of goodies to gorge on, and I am going to keep count of how many mandarin oranges I am going to eat for this month. Haha. Last year, I actually ate quite alot, although I am not an orange fan. Heh. Healthy Living. xD

Anyway, in another 2 days, it's gonna be my sister's 14th birthday. Yup, her birthday this year happens to fall on CNY as well. Lucky right, it's double the red packets leh. *envious* HAHA. We thought of celebrating it for her today cos CNY that time, bakeries won't be open, and there wouldn't be any cakes for her to celebrate. I guess that's the down part of having your birthday on CNY.

Yup, I went out with my mum, and we saw this really huuuge chocolate cake, and we wanted to get it for my sister. But then, our relatives called and told us that they will be buying the cake. Fine, since they said they will take care of the cake, we didn't buy the one we saw.

Then? Then?

They came and told us they forgot the cake. Like WTF. Don't want buy then say so earlier lah, or can't they call like earlier to inform, so that we can get the cake for my sister. Yarh, so, it's a birthday celebration without the cake.

Forget the cake, then come for dinner, and then one of them start complaining about ache at her body, don't know where also. Then say this cannot eat, that cannot eat. That stupid complaining bitch. MY MUM SPEND HOURS IN THE KITCHEN PREPARING THE FOOD OKAY, CANNOT EAT THEN DON'T EAT LAH, NOBODY ALSO ASKED THEM TO EAT. AND MY MUM COOKS THE BEST DISHES IN THE WORLD, YOU MOTHERFUCKERS, GET FREE FOOD STILL WANT COMPLAIN. Cake also never buy, we told my sister that we are celebrating her birthday today, and who doesn't look forward their own birthday celebrations? Blowing out the candles and cutting the cake are one of the main things about a birthday celebration, no? Anyone celebrate birthdays without a cake? Except my sister, of course. They just have to ruin it for my sister.

Like seriously, and my sister is not their goddamn slave. My sister told me that they always ask her to help them do things like throw litters and stuff, and even help the little complaining bitch pull out white hair. They even poke her in the back, like WTF. Yarh, my sis also never tell me earlier, relatives or not, if I see them poking my sister, I will make sure they get a lashing from me. Sorry, but my sister is not born to let you pathetic bloody freaks poke her.

SIGHS. Getting angry on the first day of a new month is definitely not a great way to start things off. Nevertheless, I guess the actual birthday celebration will just have to be postponed after CNY. I will buy her a POKEMON CAKE. LOL. xD
