Christmas joy~

HOHOHO~ CHRISTMAS IS TOMORROW. So, well, THE WORLD DIDN'T END. TROLLOLOLOL. That's a good thing right, cos I was looking forward to having a sumptuous steamboat dinner with my family. :3 [Emphasis is more on the steamboat...] I am going to spam-eat fishball before people start predicting the date for the next world-end.

I lubbs steamboat very much. LOLOLOL.

Anyways, I didn't spend my time hiding under the blanket for apocalypse to happen. I was trying to perfect my cupcake recipe, but well, that didn't seem to work out. At least mine pink-coloured cupcake is better than my sissy's one.

If you can call this a cake in the first place. ._. It just looks like baked plasticine and taste like one too.. Yes, well, that's my sissy creation. -.-

This is how it ended up when she tried to make ...er...letsee, -.- topping?

I tried making tang yuan too. :3 It's quite idiot-proof actually. The fun part was trying to mix all the food dye together to see what colour I would get. Kekeke. Very colourful right. Flamboyance is the new 21. TROLLOLOLOL.

Alrights, enough of cooking. Went to watch movies like "Wreck-it Ralph". Not bad, but plot is a bit lacking. One of the more memorable lines would be "I'm bad and that's good. I'll never be a good guy and that's not bad. There's no one I rather be than me."

Merry Christmas!

DDD..December

Can you believe it? In the blink of an eye, it's already December. The last month of the year before we begin a new year and new resolution. This year has been flying fast, feels like I've been stuck in a roller coaster ride, going up and whoosh, down and up again in circles and down in spirals. I'm loving every minute of it.

Anyways, for this month, I managed to meet up with my secondary school friends. It's been a loooong time since I actually saw them, well, at least it does feel that way. Met up at Timbre. Cool atmosphere, with pretty good live music and great company. :3 Not forgetting the food of course.

It was a really enjoyable time, and many thanks to my friends who celebrated my birthday. Love the present, it was a really practical gift. It's really sweet of them. (;

That's about it for now, laziness is kicking in.

On a side note, will update again after 21st December if the world doesn't end. LOL.

As of now

Now that I have a little time, maybe I should blog about some things that went by for the past few weeks. It was really hectic in a way.

Well, not long ago, I just celebrated my 21st birthday. It was just a simple and quiet celebration with my family. Well, just a dinner, a cake, a few presents and a birthday song and many birthday wishes. Nothing fanciful. My cheeky sister actually wrapped the present in a few layers of newspapers, and told me to unwrap the present carefully -without tearing the newspapers. It was fun, the anticipation of unwrapping the present. Got an instant camera from my sister, and a lovely handmade card and handwritten note.

Went to the IT fair today at Expo. It was so crowded. Bought a few things and been flashed an asscrack. LOL. Guy was walking in front and he suddenly bent down and exposed his ass. Loose low pants plus no boxers. My eyes stung. -.- Poor sis got a solid view of his ass plus hair (sorry, too much details)

Caught a really beautiful sunset.

Seems to soothe the turmoil of emotions, yet leave a tinge a sadness when you hope the beauty and the light would not go away.

Monopoly!

Spending a quiet night playing one of my favourite childhood games- Monopoly.

Not that I am good in the game, in fact, I always ended up in debt- very heavily. But well, it's the company and fun that matters.

Maybe I'm getting old, but I'm feeling weary and wary nowadays. Then again, it's probably a lack of sleep, and when I catch up on my beauty sleep, I'll be back to the awesome me. (; kekeke

Weird or just weird?

Dear bloggie,

I am so fed up. -.- Why do I always always attract WEIRDOES? This is serious. Do I look weird? It can't be. I have a pair of eyes like everybody else, one nose for sure and definitely only one mouth. So why is it that weirdoes have a tendency to approach me?

I quite had enough. Just yesterday when I was walking home, this old man walked towards me. Straight towards, and I had to side-step to avoid him. Came forward with that sickening leer that I thought I would have another puke fest soon. -.- Then he said 'Mei mei, cute cute'. I ignored him though, cos he really looked mentally unsound. And I seriously fail to see where is the cuteness, or the humour of it all.

LIKE WTF? It's so goddamn irritating. You mean, I can't walk on the streets without getting approached by weirdoes.Seriously, with missing rotten teeth and a pathetic beer belly and not to mention a leg in the coffin, still want to act young and xian charbor? Just so they know, doing that won't earn them a place in my pants, or anywhere near me. -.-

Oily greasy slimy odd piece of hairballs.

Not only that, I had one crazy woman who stood like three steps away, telling me to chant more sutras. -.- I'm beginning to wonder if it's some kind of conspiracy. Or probably figments of my imagination. There can't be that many weirdoes around, right?

Time to think of how to repel those weirdoes away. -.-

On a rainy day~

It's such a heavy rain today. One moment it was the sun beating down harshly, and the next moment the sky is peeing non-stop. -.- What a bad day. Just when I thought I should wear singlet and shorts to school because of the hot weather, it turned out to be freezing cold.

Stood out in the rain, with cold wet feet and feeling miserable bacause the bus and the train decided to take their time to come. All I want is a bowl of warm beancurd and a cushy bed. :3

Yummy! Nights!

Spring-cleaning

Yep, I thought today was a perfect day for spring cleaning cos the weather's really too hot to go out. LOL. Alrights, actually, I just want to get rid of my old stuff since I'm starting school again, and I don't want my room to get choked up. And of course, I was thinking of getting rid of my old clothes so I can go shopping again with a clear conscience. HEHE.

So the first thing I did was to pull a sleeve that's hanging out of my wardrobe and poof! all my clothes started tumbling out after one another. All my clothes were horribly entangled up. I was practically lying in a pool of clothes. Most of my clothes are in fact school-based shirts. PE shirts of many different colours, class tees, school orientation shirts, cca shirts and shirts given FOC when I did voluntary work. LOL. I threw some of them away cos they were from my secondary school days ( Hell a long time ago!). Threads were loose, some white shirts already become yellow, some were seriously oversized shirts and I was like WTF was I thinking at the point of time when I insisted on L-sized shirts. -.- Of course I threw away impulse buys as well since my taste of clothes have changed and those clothes no longer fit me. They were either too big or too small or too oh-piang(old-fashioned). Hehs. These are the clothes I'm going to throw/donate away. ;x

The next thing I did was to clear out notes that wasn't cleared out in the last spring cleaning. LOL. See the stacks of notes? I simply find it a waste of money because after spending so much on the notes, revision packs, ten-year series, recommended texts, my exam results come out also still neither here nor there. -.- My mum would always say, "See the amount of books and paper you have, even professors also not so much!" LOL. I totally agree. It feels like a complete rip-off. Honestly, out of all the notes I have bought, I only went through what the teacher went through, and that was during lessons. LOL. The rest is buy and forget. Lesson learnt is to study smart. Quality studying is much better than quantity. Remind me to selective in choosing textbooks next time.

The next thing I did was to rearrange my collection of soft toys. LOL. Friends know I can never resist a cutie toy and I really really appreciate all the soft toys friends have given me. Some are old and turning grayish brown. -.- But I can't bear to throw them away! Got my smell somemore. Kekeke. I had to squeeze them in a plastic box. Remind me of a boat, or a spaceship. ;3

And all the random stuff I found. Very nostalgic indeed.

Archie comics~ Love them when I was young. Was hooked to the cartoon as well. LOL.

The recorder from my primary school days. LOLOLOLOL. I still remember how to play it. And that's the only instrument I ever know how to play.

Bleach posters when I am still in a anime-manga fever. Used to be totally crazy over hunks in anime and manga but well, back to reality. -.-

A bottle of sand which some ex went to dig up for me. -.- Threw away the sand, but since bottle can be recyled and re-used, I kept it. Who knows, I can even rear fishes in it. ;3

Diaries I used to keep, before the existence of blogs. I threw it away too, cos what I wrote in the past made me cringe when I re-read it. Never knew I was such an immature twat back then. *shakes head*

The calculator I used in my secondary school days. It spoilt months before my O levels and me being a cheapo didn't bother getting a new one. Took a risk and brought it into the exam venue. LOL. It died on me during the chemistry paper.

Random shots.

Aaaand taadaa~~ my super neat wardrobe. ;3 Feeling so good.

P.S. typed this in June and it took me two months to complete it. I am the queen to procrastinators. LOL.

Old love, new love

Dearest love,

You have been with me for a near two years. One year eleven months and five days. It was infatuation at first sight and the way you keep appearing right in front of my eyes made me determined to have you. And so I did. It was a bumby ride while I tried to get to know you more intimately, getting used to your hardware, fiddling with your software. Truth be told, there are still many amazing things I have yet to discover about you, but my attention have fizzled out. When I first got you, I told myself you would be the last of my love until the day you wear out. Unfortunately, my attention wore out before you. So adieu and welcome my new love.

Hello SAMSUNG GALAXY S3BYE BYE SAMSUNG GALAXY S~

HEH. HEHEHEHEHE. KEKEKEKEKEKE. *gleeful laughter* NEW PHONE!

Alright, I'm still a bit wasted for my old phone. Cos it still in a pretty much good working condition. The only thing is that it's just out of its time, with new phones boasting better functions. It's kinda a waste since it still can send messages, call, take pictures. But well, hell.

Anyways, I finally got myself a S3 handset after much serious thought. To be honest, I've been waiting for it since last year. =.= Kinda anticipating it cos according to the rumors it would be released about the same time where I can finally change my phone.

When it came out, it was quite disappointing. First was the design. I was like WTF, IS THAT A PHONE OR AN EGG? I was hoping that the new S3 would sport a sleek and sharp design like the LG Prada phone.

Specs wise, I wouldn't care much because I'm still not much a geek and I do not care about whatever processors they use as long as my phone doesn't lag. Camera wise, 8mp was kinda disappointing at first, but then the pictures taken turned out to be damn clear, so I'll pass that.

Anyways, the design turned out to be a blessing in disguise. HEH. The rounded edges fitted nicely into the palm without seeming to cut into the hand. Smart design *touched*

The thing that attracted me most was the LED notification light. LOL. I thought that was pretty cool even though my sister said that was a stupid thing to be in love with.

The downside is probably the battery life. =.= Battery dies out fast and I don't even know how. Another thing is the alarm ringtone they have inside. All birds chirping and so au naturel. My sister tried the alarm and she woke up one hour later, while for me, after hearing the birds chirping and water splashing, I seemed to sleep even sounder. -.- Erm, that kind of defeats the purpose of having an alarm right?

So tadaa~ I'm still trying to know my phone.

Five awkward minutes with MP

HAHAHA. Guess what? I shook hands with the MP. About three to four times somemore. *swoons*

Die die must boast a bit. Cos my sis shook hands with him before. ONCE only. I shook hands with him about three to four times. *head swelling*

Well, it all started on a ...

Bright sunny day. Like any typical Sunday. So I thought I was gonna spend my day recuperating after trying to catch my nose yesterday. Wasn't fun at all suffering from a runny nose. -.-

So, on a wonderful Sunday, I was still sniffing while stalking chiobus online like some hentai jiji. HAHAHA. Until some persistent knocking on the door. Neither my sister nor I moved an inch from the seat. But it just refuse to subside.

Well, finally I got fed up and open the door. Apparently the MP is doing some house visiting and under the persuasion from one of the assistants, I reluctantly agreed. It seemed rude to slam the door in the face of an enthusiastic woman. So I was suppose to give feedback and raise issues about the community and yaddah yaddah.

-.-

So when the MP came, I was at loss for words, and awkward conversation roll out like this:

MP: So do you have any feedback or suggestions?
*Awkward pause*
Me: Cats... I think there are too many cats hanging around...
MP: (Bewildered look) Oh? You don't like cats?

HAHAHA. Shit. Fuck my life. This got to be the most embarassing moment. I think I could hear some of his assistants sniggering behind. I just managed to portray myself as an activist for cats extermination campaign, and a number one suspect if they ever find a cat's corpse around the neighbourhood.

I so just want to dig a hole and hide. -.- Anyways, he said he would try to look into the matter.
LOL. Anyway, he shook my hands three four times. I feel kinda bad for not telling him I just use my hand to wipe my nose like ten minutes before....

Edit: I saw a cat along my corridor on a Tuesday evening. -.- An ambush maybe?

Random Musings of an innocent

You know, it's one of those days you are the innocent one caught in a cross-fire and asking yourself why.

Yeah, and the day always come when my mom decided that today is a perfect day for spring-cleaning. With my sis in school, and my bro serving the country and an unhelpful dad who would rather slack on the sofa. My dearest mum decided to give me her undivided attention, while I was still in bed. -.-

Naturally, I took my time getting out of bed considering my options. I could a) find an excuse and get out of the house, b) be a good girl and clear up my stuff, c) pretend to be sick. All the while, my mum was going on about how dirty and unkempt I am while she attempt to sweep out the dirt in my room.

I bet she changed her mind after discovering a lizard in my brother's bed. HAHAHA. I could have died laughing. At least my bed is lizard-free. Sorry, I'm such a mean bitch sometimes.

Anyways, I was going to take option A, but you know, mothers really do know their children well. She poured out all the things from my cupboard and lay it on the floor. -.- So it was option B for me.

Heh. It feels good to have your cupboard cleared although I was cursing and swearing while I cleared my cupboard up. Let's see, I found things like candle wax and a used candle in my cupboard. WTF. Was I that psychotic to keep candle wax in my cupboard?? -.- Uuhh, no memories though I suspect that was from the lantern festival celebreation 2 years ago...

And I found things like bra paddings too...and lots of hair. Eww. In the end, I chucked out like 90% of the stuff, so my cupboard is like pretty clean. Happy Happy~ I fiinished the entire cleaning session with vaccuuming all the tiny things that I was too lazy to pick up.

Nothing much interesting right. Well, while I was cleaning, I was thinking of how my mum resembled this superhero. Big, tall, intimidating and green. HAHA. Scratch that. I mean, big, tall and intimidating.

Yeap. Don't mess with my mum. ;)

Clothes Symphony

TGIF! The birds are chirping, the wind is whistling, the sun is humming along. My shoes are squeaking with ecstasy, and my jeans decided to rip in too. -.-

I mean, well, I was putting on my socks. Maybe I open my legs too big, maybe I just added a little bit of weight. My skinnies went "zzzzz". -.- Damn my ass. Since I was already in a mad rush, I didn't want to change. Unfortunately, it tore at the wrong place. OOPS.

Then I was walking to the lift with my sister. My shoes were squeaking all the way.

Sister: (stares at my shoes) baby shoes?
Me: No -.-
Sister: They sound like one.

LOL.

Meet NONO

HEHE. Dear bloggie, meet the newest cutie to my collection: NONO! The cutie that looks at you with huge forlorn eyes that make your heart melt like chocolate in your mouth.

Enough said. I'll just show off Nono.

CUTE HUH. I got it as a birthday present. Since it doesn't like the bottle, I hung him by the window. LOL. Now it can't get down. HAHAHA. Alrights, I'm sorry, I'm taking really good care of it.

Inspire me

I know I seem to have a lot of free time nowadays. RIGHTO! My work has been quite slack recently, and I don't know what to do to let time pass abit more mercifully. So I thought I would just blog cos at least a few hours would be gone. =.= Yeah. I take that long to blog.

I'm not a slowpoke ok! I'm not that ugly. =.=

The reason is because I would scan through for spelling errors, check and see if my sentence structure is correct (all bullshit I know, LOL). Re-read and re-edit until I'm satisfied. Then maybe in a fit of madness, delete the entire post.

...

Alrights! Change topic! I was randomly browsing through websites, and I came across a site with lots of pretty good quotes. Some inspirational, some funny, and I thought I should post a few nice ones up to motivate and inspire myself to work harder.

"I'm the one that's got to die when it's time for me to die, so let me live my life the way I want to.” -Jim Hendrix

“It is better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you are not.” -Andre Gide

“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it's all that matters.” -Audrey Hepburn

“If cats looked like frogs we'd realize what nasty, cruel little bastards they are. Style. That's what people remember.” -Terry Pratchet, Lords & Ladies

“Live to the point of tears.” -Albert Camus

“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.” -Jess C. Scott, 1:The Intern

“I've got nothing to do today but smile.” -Simon & Garfunkel

“The trouble with being in the rat race is that even if you win, you're still a rat.” -Lily Tomlin

“If you end up with a boring miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest, or some guy on television telling you how to do your shit, then you deserve it.” -Frank Zappa

“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.” -Anais Nin

Thought provoking right? LOL. There are more quotes, but I can't possibly post all. That's crazy! Yep, that's about it.

New Face!

Heh! I just changed the background for my blog. Nice? Looks plain though, but I'm working on it. Added some things to my blog. Well, I think it's an achievement for a techno-idiot like me, so it doesn't seem so bad. Quite fun actually, and I'm thinking of changing the banner too. Once I got a rough idea, I'll change it. -.- Unfortunately, I still can't decide what to put.

I really like the background actually. Reminds me of strawberry ice-cream with dark chocolate bits in it. YUMMY! ;3

That's all for now.

Hate' em Lists

Since I got nothing to do, I thought I would just blog about random stuff. Like say, the ten things that irritates the shit out of me. I'm an easy-going person, heh, although nasty people would call it indecisiveness. But there are some things that would just piss me off. Like, for instance,

1) tiis kindd of twit language, wiich make miie angrys bcos ii dun fuckingg understand waat de heck ppl r toking abt. iit takez skiiLL to wriitez tiis atchali. -.- aand ii stiLL haven figurez out hows. euu noe hw? tiich miie. And I'll teach you the proper way to write and spell English sentences and words.
Another thing, I'm fine with people using lah, lor, hor, ah, cos I use them too. But the one word I seriously can't stand is wor. It kind of gets on my nerves for eg. nvr jio miie worz. It has this actsy-cutesy ring to it. It's disturbing to see some guys using it. As long as I don't see it in my text messages, I think I don't mind. AND DON"T EVER REFER TO YOURSELF IN THIRD-PARTY. It's disturbing and utterly disgusting.

2) Queue-cutters. YEAH. THEY'RE EVERYWHERE. I know I cut queue once in a while (unintentional of course), but it just pisses me off. I still remembered I was queue-ing for lunch, and this woman about my age I think, look pretty and all, just cut my queue like that. Oh course I'm mad! You think pretty girls can just cut my queue like that?! Then I should have done it all the time right. LOL. And I was contemplating whether I should trip her when she walked away. I know I know. Evil of me. Don't ever cut my queue, especially when I'm buying food. -.-

3) Escalators Blockage. Many a time, when I'm about to step on the escalators, the people in front of me will suddenly pause in their tracks. Don't ask me. Maybe they think escalators are sacred objects, so must think carefully whether to go down into hell, or up to the heavens. -.- Then they chicken out and try to turn back, but there's already a throng of crowd trying to trample on them. Yeah, these inconsiderate people will just stop right in front of the escalator and think. When there are people behind waiting for them to make up their minds. Really really inconsiderate.

4) Bad services. Yesh, there are two kinds of services I detest. The first is poor service attitude. They give you the loan-shark faces, and serve you unwillingly. The worst kind are the ones that treat you like a piece of glass. I still remembered I went to a particular cake shop, cos the cakes there seem quite nice. So when I was about to order my cake, the guy behind the counter looked at me and turn away and continue flirting with another female staff at the counter. That female staff saw me too, and conveniently turned away. -.- I know lah, I'm not wearing a LV dress, not carrying a Prada bag, but I think I can still afford a bloody slice of cake?? I think that time I complained a bit too loudly, even the people next to my table looked at me, and I think the staff heard it too. LOL. The other staff services were quite good though, still can recommend other cakes to try in the future. HEH. The second kind is harcore selling tactic. The over-zealous shopkeepers that stalk you from one end of the shop to the other end. I'm really surprised they didn't trail me out of the shop. Some will recommend lots and lots of stuff, while the rest will follow you behind quietly, lasering your back with their Cyclops eyes...

5) Peak hour. -.- I HATE IT. OMG. IT IS A NIGHTMARE. The MRT station will be squeezy, MRT trains packed. Buses will be full. Traffic jams.

6) Dirty toilets. You know, toilets that have toilet paper strewn all over the floor, toilet bowls unflushed and exhibiting the remains of the food and the puddles of unidentified liquid on the floor with a suspicious stench. Apparently, some people are not toilet-trained.

7) Cheekopeks. -.- If I have a gun, I'll shoot them all. LOL. I still remember I was walking home after school, and this coughsonofabitchcough old man came up to me with a sickening grin, and ask me if I'm going home. And I just stared at him speechless and shocked. Then he walked off laughing to himself. LIKE WTF, seriously? You can get a kick out of that? Anothe one actually showed me his friggin' dentures. I went home and complain to my dad. LOL. My dad says he's gonna punch the old man's dentures out next time. HEH. But seriously, already got one foot in the coffin still can be horny, why not use that energy to get the second foot into the coffin and die? -.-

8) Getting up early in the morning. Yeahha. It's a complete pain in the ass, getting up at some ungodly hour just to go to work or go to school.

9) Unbreakable chocolate. You know, when you wanna snack on something sweet, and take out a bar of chocolates from the fridge, take a bite and break your jaw. -.- My family used to keep chocolates in the freezer. And it actually took a few years and a few broken jaws before someone with brains (me, of course) started putting chocolates in the lower compartment of the fridge. Before that, we always had to karate-chop the chocolates.

10) Instruction manuals. Since when do they ever work?

Gee, I finally finished a super long blogpost. HEH.

Cheers~

Happy New Year~

Happy New Year! It's already 2012. Second day actually. Gee, that's fast. In just a blink of the eye, another year has come and gone. Time sure stops for no one. Well, if anyone still has any unfulfilled dreams from the past years, it's a brand new start to try putting the dreams into reality. Afterall, new year brings new hopes, and of course new clothes, new bags, new shoes, new laptop...oops. I'm still as materialistic as ever. xD

Anyway, back to topic, I had a pretty memorable new year celebration with my secondary school friends, umm, not exactly new year since we celebrated a day earlier. But hell yeah, who cares. LOL. And I really really enjoyed it. ;3

It was a like a sleepover party. We brought games, sneaked in drinks, bought snacks just for the big night. xD Let's see, we played Black Jack, learnt how to play Indian Poker, charades (my favourite game), truth or dare, Donkey and watched movies. Heh, I managed to stay awake the whole night~ *head inflating*

Yep, and we had girls' talk. ;D You know, the kind with lights out, music playing in the background, everybody tucked in cosily in bed and exchanging stories. Really really memorable, cos it's not a thing you can do with all your girlfriends. Then it was time for breakfast at Mac. And we didn't even bother to wash up, just headed down to Mac like that.

Talking and laughing, spending a day with your friends is a really awesome thing. I just love my girlfriends. xD Awww~~

So for this year, let me set the things I want to achieved by this year.

1) Be less forgetful.
2) More direction-savvy.
3) Have another sleepover, chalet, hotel stay. Heh.
4) Eat all the good food. Oo.
5) Work hard and play doubly hard.
6) Watch more movies! HAHA. So I don't seem so deprived. xD
7) Learn shuffling... -.- seems cool...

That's about it. Of course there's more, but I can't recall now. -.- So much for wanting to be less forgetful. LOL.

Cheers~
